"A surprisingly painless hotel hunt"
I went on lastminutetravel.com in full “I need a hotel right now” panic mode, it did not make the situation worse, which felt like a small miracle. The site was easy to figure out, the search loaded fast, and the filters actually helped instead of sending me down a rabbit hole. I didn’t have to click around forever, and the prices and details were clear before booking. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I’d definitely use it again

Booking went fine overall, and the payment page looked secure to me, at least from what I could tell. I can’t say for sure how protected everything is, but nothing seemed off. I just wish they had explained the card protection stuff a bit more clearly before I paid. Not a bad experience, just kind of average.

"Confirmation took a little while"
I booked a hotel through lastminutetravel.com and got a little nervous when the confirmation email didn’t come through right away. It ended up showing up about an hour later, and I had to check my spam folder too, which wasn’t exactly ideal.
Everything worked out in the end and the hotel did have my reservation, so it’s not even about that. It’s more that once you’ve already paid, waiting around for proof of the booking can feel stressful. Not a bad experience overall, just wish the confirmation process was faster and clearer.
